About Parkhill
Established in 1910
An abundance of park space, including the iconic Stanley Park, and light make this neighbourhood special. We’re just a stone’s throw away from the emerging Barley Belt, close to the 39th Ave C-train station, and the 4th Street shopping and restaurant district. A short bike or scooter ride will also take you to Stampede Park and Calgary’s bustling downtown core. For our dog owner’s, the Roxboro off-leash park is just a quick walk down the hill.
This is our home and we feel lucky to live here.

The Iconic Stanley Park
The majority of this 21-hectare public city park is situated within our community, providing convenient access. It offers a variety of amenities, from disc golf to water sports. For further information about this prominent park, visit the City’s website:

Don’t forget to visit the Princess Obolensky Park (technically part of Stanley Park) on top of the ridge overlooking the rest of Stanley Park, the Elbow River valley and the Rocky mountains!
Community Hall Field
Adjacent to our hall in the heart of our community, this park features exclusive Parkhill member-only tennis and pickleball courts, along with a public city playground and soccer field. You have the option to reserve the soccer field through the City (for a fee) or enjoy it freely when it’s not in use.

33rd Avenue Viewpoint
Stroll over to 33rd Ave to get a magnificent view of the City. It’s a great spot for watching the nightly fireworks during Stampede and a convenient staircase takes you directly down to Mission Road.
