Hello Neighbors, please see the below message from the City:

Hello,

The City of Calgary is working on a research project around the upcoming, November 1 closure of Mission Bridge to vehicle traffic for about six months; we’re hoping you might consider sharing this research participation opportunity with residents.  We’re looking for 25 volunteers who commute through the Mission area and rely on Mission Bridge as part of their trip, to share their experience by participating in a few activities that will help us better understand the impact of the rehabilitation work. Once we have that feedback, we’ll review it and look for ways to improve Calgarian’s experience with construction.

The research requires about 90 minutes of someone’s time over a two-week period. Activities include journaling about and mapping their commute experience. Since this is research, an honorarium would be provided to participants for their time. We have some eligibility screening questions for people who are interested in participating to help us ensure the integrity of the research material.

If you think folks in your neighbourhood might be interested, feel free to share the screening survey link below with them on your social media or via poster or any way that makes sense for your residents. We’ve also attached a poster if that’s helpful.  The survey closes Nov 3rd.

Thanks for your consideration,
